Message	You probably would be much better just buying used doors than re-skinning your old ones, since there are plenty of good parts available now. And yes, the doors need to be removed to install. Biggest issues is disconnecting the wiring, but otherwise shouldnt be that difficult. Get some help lifting them, b/c yes they are heavy. Using a jack to get them started can sometimes help as well.
